Many service procedures demand switching-off of a safety lock of a pillow of safety and switching-off from a food of all modules of pillows of safety in order to avoid emergency operation.

Driver's and passenger modules of pillows of safety

For leaving and storage of not worked module «air bag» it is necessary to choose a place with an ambient temperature more low 65°С (150°F), with low degree of humidity and far from electric hindrances.

At transportation of not worked module, take the side of its opening from itself. In case of emergency operation, the pillow will work with the minimum possibility of damage. Never bear the module of a pillow of safety for wires or for коннектор on a module underside. At placing of not worked module on a workbench or other surface always put its pillow upwards from a surface. Since not worked module of a pillow of safety should be the facing panel upwards, put it on a workbench with a cut or use a vice for reliable fixing for its bottom fixing скобу. Never submit a food to system «air bag» while КДМ it is not connected rigidly to the car. All details of fastening КДМ and an adjusting arm should be tightened according to the established moment and the arrow should specify in a forward part of the car to provide correct functioning of system «air bag».

КДМ it can be activated at food giving if it is not connected rigidly to the car that can lead to traumas.

Driver's and passenger преднатяжители seat belts

For leaving and storage not worked преднатяжителя a seat belt choose a place with an ambient temperature more low 65°С (150°F), with low degree of humidity and far from electric hindrances.

Even at the insignificant failure which have not caused operation of pillows of safety, necessarily check up components of system and the connected components.

At service of the components which are not concerning system «air bag» but if blow could damage system components replace these components beforehand.

At care of modules of pillows of safety (driver's and passenger), преднатяжителями seat belts (driver's and passenger) or КДМ, be attentive, do not drop and do not strike them. Never use system components «air bag» from other car.

At welding use, it is necessary to disconnect temporarily system «air bag».

Never subject system components «air bag» to direct influence of hot air (drying of the car after painting) or to open fire.

Labels WARNING/CAUTION are pasted on all components of system «air bag». Attentively follow instructions.

After repair is finished, execute diagnostic check of system «air bag».
