After careful clearing of connection of a hose of a high pressure with the hydraulic booster pump, disconnect a hose from the pump and establish the special equipment (the gauge of pressure of oil, connecting branch pipes). Shade each nut with the corresponding moment of an inhaling.

At the working engine idling, повращайте a wheel for engine warming up while the temperature in a tank of the hydraulic booster will not reach 50 – 60С (122 - 140F).

Check up return pressure, measuring hydraulic pressure idling, without influence on a steering wheel. Return pressure: more low, than 1000 кПа (10 kg/sm2, 142 psi).
If return pressure above the specified values, check up regulating valve and hydraulic tubes on засоры.

Check up unloading pressure.
Increase turns of the engine to 1500 mines-1. Gradually close the valve, observing of pressure increase at a manometre and estimate unloading pressure (the maximum hydraulic pressure).
Unloading pressure:
6200 – 7000 кПа
(62 – 70 kg/sm2, 882 – 995 psi) — for engine G16
6700 – 7500 кПа
(67 – 75 kg/sm2, 953 – 1067 psi) — for engine J20
7050 – 7850 кПа
If pressure above specified malfunction of the return valve is possible.
If pressure below specified malfunction of the pump of the hydraulic booster or jamming of a spring of the return valve is possible.

Do not block the manometre valve longer than for 10 seconds. |

Then open the manometre valve completely and increase turns to 1500 mines-1. Then completely turn out a wheel to the left or to the right and estimate unloading pressure.
Unloading pressure:
6200 – 7000 кПа.
(62 – 70 kg/sm2, 882 – 995 psi) — for engine G16
6700 – 7500 кПа
(67 – 75 kg/sm2, 953 – 1067 psi) — for engine J20
7050 – 7850 кПа
If pressure above specified malfunction of the return valve is possible.
If pressure below specified malfunction the helmsman рейки is possible. Replace steering рейку.
