Check of a wheel disk, nut and the bearing

Check up each wheel disk on presence of dents, deformations and cracks. It is necessary to replace strongly damaged disk.

Check up an inhaling of nuts of a nave of a wheel and, if necessary, tighten to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The inhaling moment: a wheel nut (a) — 100 Н•м (10.0 kg th, 72.5 pounds-foots).

Check up wheel bearings on deterioration. To measure люфт, remove from the middle of a wheel a cap and put the device with a dial to the bridge centre. Border люфта the wheel bearing: 0.8 mm (0.03 inches).

If measurement exceeds this border, replace the bearing.

Rotating a wheel, check up the bearing on noise and smoothness of rotation. If defect is found out, replace the bearing.
