To define a battery condition, refer to Section the Battery.
If the electrolit that is an obvious sign of excessively charged battery proceeds, measure pressure in generator plug B at speed of the engine of 2000 rpm.
If the pressure measured by you above an extreme top point, start generator dismantling as it is described in Section the Generator.
Check up grounding of brushes. If brushes are not earthed, replace regulator IC.
Then check up an excitation winding on grounding and short circuit (see Has undressed Visual survey).
